At
Blyton Ponds we can offer good value
fishing holidays and short breaks, in our range of either
2 or 3 bedroom caravans, most of which offer central
heating, and b & b en-suite chalets with private
verandah also central heated. Some of our accommodation
is right on the banks of the pond C and even those not on
the banks are no more than 30 feet from the waters edge.
Our on site facilities are excellent, offering flush
toilets, on site cafe, regulation disabled access and
ample parking.
In
the picturesque surrounding which is Blyton
Ponds you can take your pick from the four well
stocked ponds which one you would like to fish at today.
The interlinked Ponds A and B have 15 and 12 pegs
respectively, and this is where you will be able to stalk
the largest of our carp which weigh in up to 28lb, you're
also likely to get a good bag of roach up to 2lb each, or
just sit back and take what comes tench, bream, barbell,
or orfe. Pond C is the 16 peg pond nearest to the
accommodation and produces good carp, orfe, bream,
barbell and chub liberally spiced with some excellent
goldfish, shubunkin and koi, so you'll never know what's
coming out next, or you can choose to set your tackle up
on the banks of pond D, or newest strip pond but don't be
fooled by that, it's well stocked with a good head of
barbel which will put up a good fight before you land
them, it also has carp, roach, chub and bream
We can also
cater for small fishing clubs who wish to hold matches at
our spacious complex.
We offer a
range of baits available from the bait shop such as
luncheon meat, sweetcorn, prawns, Soft hook pellets,
Paste and Feed pellets and Low oil feed pellets.
