FISHING

In the picturesque surrounds of Blyton Ponds you can choose to fish from four different well stocked ponds.  The inter-linked Ponds A and B have 15 and 12 pegs respectively.  This is where you will be able to stalk the largest of our carp, which weigh in up to 28lb.  You're also likely to get a good bag of roach up to 2 lb each.  Alternatively, just sit back and take what comes: tench, bream, barbel, chub, perch or orfe.

Pond C. is a 16 peg pond, nearest to the accommodation.  It produces good carp, orfe, bream, barbel and chub, liberally spiced with some excellent goldfish, shubunkin and koi, you'll also get out a fair few hybrids including crucian/koi/goldfish crosses.  You never know what's coming out next!

Finally is pond D, our newest strip pond.  It's well-stocked with a good head of barbel, which will put up a good fight before you land them, it also has carp, roach, chub and bream.

Fishing on pond C is 6am to 10pm.  On pond A, B & D residents are welcome to fish whenever they please, but if fishing late into the night or early morning please be considerate to other residents and keep noise to a minimum.

Day ticket anglers strictly 7.30am - 10pm or dusk whichever is the earlier, last set up in summer months 6.30pm.  Night fishing only by prior arrangement by telephoning us on 01427 628240.

OTHER REASONS TO VISIT US

If you're here for a relaxing holiday at our adult only park, there is plenty to do and see in the area.  The market town of Gainsborough is 4 miles away, with the Old Hall well worthy of a visit if your interested in English Heritage property.  Also the historic city of Lincoln is just 18 miles away, where you can explore the old city streets of Steep Hill and the Cathedral district or indulge in a bit of retail therapy.  For those interested in antiques, and car boots, Hemswell Cliff Antique & Car boot centre (Open on Sundays) is only 12 miles.

Blyton village itself has two village pubs, the Black Horse which serves typical pub grub and a good pint in a welcoming friendly atmosphere,..... what more could you want!!........and the White Hart which is only a short walk away, plus the Victoria Club which is an affiliated club. There is also a general store and a chinese take away open 6 days a week.

This venue is adults only and is unsuitable for under 14's, no pets, and no all male groups unless at least one of the group is over 40,... or by prior arrangement.
