We

rating which was awarded to us in 2005 by Lincolnshire
Tourist Board for our bed & breakfast
chalets.
Come
and spend a relaxing week with us either in a self
catering 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom caravan. We have two
levels of caravan accommodation consisting of our
Standard range of 2 and 3 bedroom caravans and a Premier
12 Ft wide range of 2 and 3 bedroom caravans. Honeysuckle
and Poppy and are both Premier units and the location of
all caravans can be found by visiting our
'Facilities'
page. There you will find a location map as well as a map
of the lakes and site facillities. The units situated on
the bankside of pond C have their own private pegs just
outside the door. The units located in the private
courtyard are just 30 feet from the waters edge and you
can reserve your favourite pegs on pond C. If you cannot
manage a week, we can also cater for a weekend break or
even a mid week stay. Gas central heating is standard in
most of our caravans and all B & B
chalets.
Bedding
is provided, but please bring your own towels and
cleaning materials if staying in the caravans.
You
can also stay in one of our Bed & Breakfast log
chalets which are also situated in the private courtyard.
These are available on a nightly basis and are fully
serviced daily, except Sunday.
Each
chalet comes complete with a double and a single
bed.
Spacious
En-suite bathroom with over bath shower.
There
is on site, a secure tackle and bait room. ALL fishing
tackle, bait, waterproofs and boots are to be stored here
during your stay. On check in you will be given
keys.
For
those not wanting to cater for themselves there is an on
site cafe offering a full English breakfast. Snacks are
available all day and a home cooked evening meal is also
available if booked before midday.
FISHING
Fishing
on pond "C" 6 a.m to 10.p.m. On pond A, B & D you are
welcome to fish whenever you please, but if fishing late
into the night or early morning please be considerate to
other residents and keep noise to a minimum.
There
are four ponds to choose from, all well stocked with a
good variety of mixed fish, including Carp, (common,
mirror ghost and crucian) Chub, golden and blue Orfe,
green and golden tench, barbel, bream, rudd, perch and
roach. On a midweek break Monday to Friday pond C is
closed for general day ticket fishing, therefore you can
have the whole pond to yourself!!!!!!!
If
you fancy going further afield the area has quite a few
other ponds to choose from, further details are available
from the on site cafe.
For
the non fishing members of the party there is plenty to
do and see in the area, with Lincoln only 20miles away,
and the market town of Gainsborough just 5 miles. For
those interested in antiques, Hemswell Cliff Antique
Centre is only 12 miles.
Blyton
village itself has two village pubs, the Black Horse
which serves typical pub grub and a good pint in a
welcoming friendly atmosphere,..... what more could you
want!!........and the White Hart which is only a short
walk away, plus the Victoria Club which is an affiliated
club. There is also a general store and a chinese take
away open 6 days a week.
Sorry,
but this break is not suitable for under 14's, no
pets, and no all male groups unless at least one of
the group is over 40,... or by prior
arrangement.
